Overview

John Sullivan serves as Kaufman Rossin Wealth’s Director of Planning and Portfolio Management. In this role, he is responsible for leading all of the firm’s delivery of financial planning solutions, management of key vendor relationships, as well as overall maintenance of the aggregate client investment portfolio.

John has nearly 30 years of experience in the South Florida financial services industry and has earned several credentials in his career. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, the standard for financial planning. He holds a CLU® designation (Charter Life Underwriter) as well as a ChFC® designation (Chartered Financial Consultant).

The financial planning services offered and delivered to clients includes retirement planning, cash flow analysis, tax planning, risk management, investment and estate planning, and portfolio management. He recommends strategies to families, high net worth individuals & business owners with the client’s needs, expectations and financial goals in mind.

Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, John worked in financial planning roles at Fortune 500 companies such as American Express Financial Advisors, SunTrust Bank and Investment Services, predecessor to Truist Bank. He is based in our Boca Raton office and is a resource for clients in South Florida and its communities. He has lived in South Florida almost his entire life.

John also holds a Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuities Agent license and a Series 7 license.

He earned his master’s in business administration from Florida Atlantic University and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Florida.
