Overview
As the Director of Client Experience at Kaufman Rossin Wealth, LLC, and Kaufman Rossin Insurance Services, Maria Socarras is passionate about delivering a personalized, meaningful and superior service experience to the Firm’s clients. She has overall responsibility for ensuring that all client issues & concerns are addressed and resolved to the client’s satisfaction in a timely manner. She personally works with every firm client to establish the relationship and continues to collaborate with Kaufman Rossin Wealth’s Chief Investment Officer in the design, implementation and delivery of financial plans to clients.
Maria brings more than three decades of experience in banking and private client management to her role. Her background includes developing relationships, managing teams, and serving as an advisor to high net worth clients in bank and boutique financial services environments. She has specific experience in assisting families during life transitions (divorce, retirement, and inheritance). At these times, when people face critical financial decisions, developing a plan and helping to implement it can be exceptionally valued.
Maria is dedicated to the South Florida community and is a member of the Women's Leadership Council of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami, which funds the construction of affordable homes in Miami for low-income single mothers. She is a member of United Way of Miami Dade’s Women United Initiative. She also devotes her time as a mentor and serves as a “Big” for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami.
Maria earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University. She is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
